Historically, hotels have implemented one network to support voice and another network for support data and high speed internet access (HSIA). However, since the Percipia Freedom solution is Internet Protocol (IP) based, hotels can utilize a common cabling and switching infrastructure to provide service to the phones and for HSIA, thereby reducing the hotel’s total cost of ownership.
